How Bayse handles your personal information, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

What we collect

  • Identity: name, date of birth, nationality, BVN, NIN and photo identification.
  • Contact: email address, phone number and residential address.
  • Financial: bank account details, wallet movements, orders, holdings and dividends.
  • Profile: occupation, income range, source of funds, experience, objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Technical: device and session information used to keep your account secure.

Why we need it

To verify your identity as regulation requires, to operate your account and process your instructions, to meet anti-money-laundering and record-keeping obligations, and to protect the platform against fraud.

Who we share it with

Identity verification providers, licensed broker-dealer and custody partners who need it to execute and record your transactions, payment providers, and regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to disclose. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Financial and identity records are retained for the period required by Nigerian capital market and anti-money-laundering rules, which is generally a minimum of five years after your account closes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate details, object to certain processing, or ask for deletion where no legal retention obligation applies. Write to support@bayse.markets.

Security

Access to personal information is restricted by role, every administrative action is logged with an audit trail, and sensitive identifiers such as BVN and NIN are stored so that only the last four digits are visible in the platform.

Regulatory status. Bayse Integrated Services Limited is pursuing a Digital Sub-Broker licence from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria. Bayse does not execute trades on the exchange and does not hold client assets. Orders are transmitted to licensed broker-dealer partners for execution, and securities are recorded through licensed custody infrastructure and the Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS).
